Kevin Esaw Montgomery, 32, of Portsmouth, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.  He was born December 12, 1991 in Portsmouth to Jeffrey Dwight Montgomery and Annette Lynn Jordan Montgomery of Portsmouth.  Also surviving are his wife, Kristen Montgomery; his children, Isaac, Waylon and Kevin Montgomery; sister, Kimberly (Aaron) Gifford of Greenup, Kentucky; grandmothers, Flossie Montgomery of Piketon and Mary Boldman of Beaver; uncles and aunts, Dale (Elizabeth) Montgomery of Piketon, Shirley Bair of Piketon, Linda (Barry) Valentine of Waverly, Betty Leeth of Piketon, Danny (Mindy) Montgomery of Rarden, Melissa (Thomas) Jordan of Lucasville, Leasha Pendleton of Piketon, Jess Jordan of Beaver, Julie Jordan of Chillicothe, Angie Jordan of Portsmouth and Karen Jordan of Idaho; nephews, Devin and Hunter Gifford; and great-nephew, Damian Gifford.  He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Esaw Montgomery, Troy Jordan and Don Boldman.

Kevin was a lineman and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers IBEW 317.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Bob Davis officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
