Larry Allen Chandler, 76, of Waverly, passed away on Thursday, April, 24, 2025 at Buckeye Forest at Jackson.  He was born on October 30, 1948 in Pike County to the late Conn Chandler and Willa Mae Salyers Chandler.  On July 4, 1976, he was united in marriage to Paula Sue McDaniel Chandler.  In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by his children; Larry (Lora Shepherd) Chandler of Jackson and Kelly Neal of Ashville; granddaughter, Shayla Marie Estep of Columbus and sister, Debbie (Alan) Newberry of Waverly.  In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by siblings; Harold Franklin Chandler, Edward Lee Chandler, John Raymond Chandler,  Robert Chandler, Connie Rider, Ilene Short,   Dovie Jane Rider, Virginia Lee Snyder, Karen Sue Chandler, Mary Sandra Chandler, Esther Faye Chandler and Violet Robinson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April, 29, 2025 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Alan Newberry officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
