Larry Lee Chitwood, 59, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022 at home.  He was born October 13, 1962 in Waverly son of the late Lottie Marie Pratt Chitwood.  Surviving are his children, Emily (Drew Gorman) Chitwood of Waverly, Leanna (Dakota Sparks) Chitwood of Piketon, Ohio, Isabella Chitwood of Hopkins, Michigan and Dakota Reasor of Hopkins, Michigan; two grandsons, Ryker Chitwood and Chance Reasor; sister, Jo Hornback of Waverly and brother, Robert (Brenda) Chitwood of Piketon.  In addition to his mother, Larry was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Paul Hornback.

Larry retired as supervisor with the Waverly Water and Sewer Department and later worked at Rural King in Waverly.  He was also a member of the Waverly EMS and Waverly Fire Department.  Larry always enjoyed going to Waverly High School football and basketball games.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Josh Leeth officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery on Bridge Street in Waverly.  Family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
