Lena Mae Brannan, 84, of Columbus, Ohio passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2024 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio.  She was born February 15, 1940 in Pike County, Kentucky to the late William and Mamie Laws Cable. On October 29, 1960 she was united in marriage to Ronald Lee Brannan who preceded her in death on September 17, 2018.  Surviving are her children, Walter (Lynn) Brannan of McDermott, Virgil (Shelly) Brannan of Zephyr Hills, Florida, Ronald E. Brannan of Columbus, Ruth Stapleton of Columbus and Eva Chapman of Columbus; sisters, Ann Brannan and Shirley Hammond; a brother, Ed (Sandy) Cable; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Vance Albert Cable, Conley Cable, Alfred Cable, Raymond Cable, Clayton Cable, Gladys Baker, Opal Flemming, Pearlie Culver, Dorothy Cable and Edna Cable.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway with Ed Cable officiating.  Burial will follow in Cable Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
