Lorena Copas, 91 of Rarden passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Southern Ohio Medical Center Emergency Room. She was born on August 13, 1931 in Rarden to the late Ray Alexander and Rachel Riley Alexander. Surviving are her children; Tammy Copas of Rarden, Michael (Patty) Copas of Otway and Timothy Copas of Rarden; grandchildren, Misti (Nick) McGlone of Lucasville, Shannon (Drew) Walker of Rarden and Jackie (Matt) Newton of Portsmouth; great grandchildren, Jordan (Kris) Carson of Otway, Autumn Carson of West Union and Hunter McGlone of Lucasville and her great great grand-dog, Sassy. In addition to her parents, Lorena was preceded in death by one son; Dennis Copas; one daughter Vicki Adams and sisters; Edna Taylor, Mildred Ward, Donna Ward, Hazel Hoffer and Mabel Mangus.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway with Steve Bro officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Joy Cemetery.
