Louis Edward Brown, 72 of Lucasville, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024 at his residence.  He was born at Portsmouth General Hospital on January 12, 1952 in Portsmouth to the late Alden Norman Brown, Sr. and Helen Kathleen Sparks Brown.  Surviving are his children; Kathleen (Kenneth) Roe, Garnet (Tony Wilson) Brown, Cheryl (Artemio Lopez) Brown, Harold "Devan" Brown and Tina (Browning) Conley; fifteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and his sister, Mary (Paul) Ward.  In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his triplet children; Louis Jr., John and Pamela Brown; brothers, Alden Brown, Jr., David Brown, Adam Brown and Richard Brown, Sr.; sisters, Gloria Bellomy, Pamela Benson and Martha Mae Brown and the mother of his children; Phyllis Cunningham.

Louis was a graduate of Piketon High School and a retired tree trimmer with Asplundh Tree Company.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.  Graveside services will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Dean Lansing officiating.
