Mariean L (Bettasso) Norris, 53, of Waverly, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at OSU Wexner Medical Center.  She was born on July 27, 1968 in Chillicothe to the late Michael Frederick Bettasso and Linda Lou Getz Bettasso.  On July 21, 2012 she was united in marriage to Douglas Norris who survives.  In addition to her husband, Mariean is survived by two daughters; Andrea (Tony) Smits and Jessica (Daniel) Gwosch; four brothers, Robin (Annie) Bettasso, Dominic (Bobbi Wright) Bettasso, Michael (Marsha) Bettasso and Danny (Kathi) Bettasso and sisters Lynda Kelley and Melody Sue Bettasso.  In addition to her parents, Mariean was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Dominique' Marie Bettasso; brother, Kenneth Bettasso and brother-in-Law, Keith Kelley.

Mariean was a 35 year member of the American Legion Post 142 Auxillary, a member of the Waverly Eagles Arie 2227 Auxillary and a member of St. Mary's Queen of the Mission Catholic Church in Waverly.

A graveside memorial will be held at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.
