Marilyn Louise Taylor Teeters, 79, of Piketon, Ohio passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024 in OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.  She was born November 7, 1944 in Peebles, Ohio, daughter of the late Kenneth Wayne and Olive Marie Satterfield Hougland.  Marilyn was united in marriage on May 29, 1965 to Ray Taylor who preceded her in death on November 18, 1997. On December 15, 2018 she was united in marriage to Larry Teeters who survives.  Also surviving are two sons, Michael (Collena) Taylor of Piketon and Jason (Angela) Taylor also of Piketon; two step daughters, Sharon (Jim) Forman of Piketon and Julie Teeters of Columbus; grandchildren, Jacob Taylor, Alisabeth Taylor and Benjamin Taylor all of Piketon, step grandson, Evan Christopher Teeters of Columbus; and sisters, Kay (Allen) Tuttle of Springfield, Phyllis Reed of Waverly, Loretta (Gary) Rigsby of Lorton, Virginia, Debbie (Gary) Jones of Piketon, Susie (Matt) Davis of Peebles and Rhonda (Aaron) Barley of Waverly; also many cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her first husband Ray,  she was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Barbara Carol Hougland.

Marilyn was retired from Kroger in Waverly and attended New Covenant Church CCCU in Waverly.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at New Covenant Church CCCU in Waverly with Pastor Michael Blevins officiating.  Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery in Piketon.  Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly and one hour prior to the service at the church.
