Mary Margaret Wamsley Rudd, 89, a life long resident of Otway, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021 at SOMC Hospice.  She was born on December 13, 1932 in Adams County, Ohio to the late William Blain Wamsley and Goldie Gertrude Tomlin Wamsley.  On April 1, 1950, she was united in marriage to Ollie Rudd who preceded her in passing on February 12, 2011.  Surviving are her children;  Sharon (Timothy) Ward of Rarden, Kay (Quinn) Crabtree of Lucasville, Rhonda (William) Lancaster of Otway, Dorothy (Karl) Riley of Otway and Ollie James Rudd II of Columbus, Ohio; 11 Grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and sisters-in- law, Alberta Wamsley and Belle Hoop both of Dayton.  In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by a grandson; Zachary Lancaster and her sisters; Mae Workman, Jane Hawn, Sara Osborne and Birdie Riley.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the funeral home and for one hour before the time of service on Wednesday.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Peebles.
