Megan Leeann Smith Watkins, 25, of Otway, Ohio passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.  She was born September 18, 1996 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Jeremy and Tina Gilley Smith of Otway.  Also surviving are her husband, Seth Watkins of Otway; son, Conner of Otway; sister, Alexandra "Alex" Smith of Otway; brother, Bryce Smith of Otway; grandmothers, Sharon Gilley of Otway and Rebecca Smith of Otway; mother-in-law, PollyAnna (Dave Kerecman) Burton of Washington; father-in-law, Greg Watkins of Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Roger Thomas Gilley and Ronald K. Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 26, 2021 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway.  Burial will follow in Smith Family Cemetery on Hackworth Hill in Otway.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
