Melissa Dawn Chapman, 53, of Piketon, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021 at her residence.  She was born in Columbus on July 7, 1968 to Donald Chapman of Piketon and the late Judy Ann Conkel Chapman.  In addition to her father, Melissa is survived by her daughter Miranda and her husband Tyler of Portsmouth; two grandchildren, Jensen Brewster and Brooklyn Brewster; one brother, Donald and his wife Jenny Chapman of Iberia, Ohio; nieces and nephew, Savannah Chapman, Kamry Chapman and Brady Chapman.  In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by one brother, Darin Chapman.

Memorial service will be 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Canal Church of Christ in Waverly.

In lieu of flowers family is requesting memorial donations be made to Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly to help with funeral expenses.
