Michael Franklin Jewell, 76, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Monday, November 6, 2023 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.  He was born March 15, 1947 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Franklin and Alice Hall Jewell.  On November 3, 1973 he was united in marriage to Brenda Hopper Jewell who survives. Also surviving are his nephew, David (Leslie) Jewell of Wheelersburg, Ohio; niece, Susan Kaiser of Cincinnati, Ohio; and numerous great-nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, David Jewell, sister-in-law, Phyllis Jewell and nieces, Sandy Billings and Linda Ratliff.

Michael proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2023 at Evergreen Union Cemetery on Denver Rd. with graveside honors conducted by American Legion Post #142.
