Nathan Randall Brownfield, 38, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at his home.  He was born February 17, 1983 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Kathy Brewster Brownfield of Piketon and the late Thomas R. Brownfield.  On October 1, 2016 he was united in marriage to Jamie Williams Brownfield who survives.  Also surviving are his children, Zane Brownfield, Wyatt Brownfield and Aria Brownfield all of Piketon, Jacob Goodspeed and Caleb Goodspeed of Waverly, Jessica Jewell of Tennessee and Samuel Smith of Virginia; three grandchildren; brothers, Matthew (Aimee) Smith of Waverly and Zachary (Sarah) Brownfield of Waverly; grandfather, John Paul Brewster; and special cousins, Joey and Justin Brewster.

Nathan was a 2001 graduate of Piketon High School. He loved his kids and his family.  He loved sports especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals. He loved music and being outdoors mushroom hunting and shed hunting.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 26, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church in Piketon with Pastor Jon Black officiating.  Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday July 25, 2021 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.
