Nicholas "Nik" Joseph Newman, 36, of Otway, passed away on Saturday February 19, 2022 at his residence.  He was born on January 16, 1986 in Portsmouth to Randy Newman, Sr. and Bobbie (Kevin) Fields Perdue of Rarden.   In October, 2021 he was united in marriage to Kati Hall Newman who survives.  Also surviving are his children; Bryson and Brentlee; stepchildren, Kaylence, Kenden and Kanon; Brother, Randy (Heather) Newman of Rarden; Step Grandmother, Patricia Perdue of Otway and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.  In addition to his father, Nik was preceded in death by his grandparents; Clarence and Mary Fields and John Otto and Audrey Newman.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 25 at 7:00p.m.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service.  The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
