Nora "Evelyn" McPherson, 79, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022 at her home.  She was born September 5, 1943 in Jackson Township, Pike County, Ohio to the late William Arthur and Nora Belle Blevins Hickman.  On October 13, 1983 she was united in marriage to Richard McPherson who survives.  Also surviving are her children, Pete Cash of Chillicothe, Rhonda McPherson of Beaver, Renee McPherson of Londonderry and Richard McPherson of Chillicothe; a sister, Reva (John) Rider of Piketon; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Paul Hickman, Shirley Childers, Charles "Bill" Hickman, Paul Hickman and Herbert Hickman; and sisters, Frances "Jo" Hancock, Bessie Howell, Edna Davis, Kathaleen Armstrong and Ruth Chesser.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, September 16, 2022 at Grandview Cemetery on Hay Hollow Road in Pike County with Bill Mason officiating.
