Ollie "Jim" Rudd, 57, of Columbus, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023 at OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. He was born April 12, 1966 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Ollie and Mary Margaret Wamsley Rudd. Surviving are his sisters, Sharon (Timothy) Ward of Rarden, Kay (Quinn) Crabtree of Lucasville, Rhonda (William) Lancaster of Otway, and Dorothy (Karl) Riley of Otway; nieces, Rebecca Ward, Kim Ward, Jessica Crabtree, Alison Fitzpatrick, Alisha Shaw and Ashley Groves; nephews, Quinn, Jamie and Bill Crabtree and Rory Lancaster; many great-nieces and nephews; and close friends, Stuart Lash, Robert Walmer, Chris Padilla and Danny Hall. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a nephew, Zachary Lancaster.

Jim was a 1984 graduate of Northwest High School.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway with Danny Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Otway Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
