Opal Williams, 92, of Waverly, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at her residence.  She was born on November 17, 1929 in Johnson County, Kentucky to the late Basil Blair and Emma Blanton Blair.  On December 20, 1974 she was united in marriage to Clarence Earl Williams who survives.  In addition to her husband, Opal is survived by four brothers; Robert Pelfrey of Columbus, Gene Blair of Cleveland, Roy Blair of Paintsville and Gary Blair of Paintsville and sister; Judy Beard of Paintsville.  In addition to her parents, Opal was preceded in death by siblings; Bill Blair, John Pelfrey, James Pelfrey, Fred Blair, Earl Pelfrey and Mable Billitier.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Dale Reed officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery on Denver Rd.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  The family asks in lieu of flowers donations be made to your favorite charity.
