Orgie Marie Teeters, 82, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Monday, November 4, 2024 at her home.  She was born December 7, 1941 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the late Hezekiah and Pruda Melton Williams.  On January 6, 1961 she was united in marriage to Jim Teeters who survives.  Also surviving are her sons, Rick Teeters and wife Ruth of Chillicothe, Ohio and Craig Teeters and wife Marci of Waverly; grandchildren, Rikki (Aymane Belmehdi) Teeters, Jenni (Matt Woodward) Teeters, Danica McDowell, Darby (Aubrey) Teeters, Drake Teeters and Delani Teeters; great-grandchildren, Huxlee McDowell, Hendrix Teeters and Callan Teeters; and brothers, Otis Williams of Keavy, Kentucky and James Williams of Bainbridge, Ohio.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Irene Maggard, Paulene Williams, Fern Beekman, Mary Martin and Esther Stidham; and a brother, Enoch Williams.

Orgie was a member of the Waverly Church of Christ for over 60 years.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Larry Williams officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  A private burial will take place at a later date.
