Patricia Louise Culp, 86, of Lucasville, passed away on Sunday Decemeber 6, 2020 at SOMC Hospice Center.  She was born on December 23, 1933 in Scioto County to the late Henry Franklin Myer and Pearl Elizabeth Honaker Myer.  On November 20, 1950 she was united in marriage to James Oakie Culp who preceded her in death on March 23, 1993.  Surviving are two sons; Bruce (Lisa) Culp of Evansville, Indiana and Roy (Lisa) Culp Mason; three daughters, Barbara (Tom) Koch of McDermott, Jeannette (Donny) Rachford of Otway and Beatrice (Todd) Miller of Lucasville; 13 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 5 great great grand children and two sisters, Mildred Dailey of Dayton and Norma Jean Myer of California.  In addition to her parents and husband, Patricia was preceded in death by one sister;  Dorothy Suthers; brothers William Myer and Johnny Myer in infancy; grandson, Daniel Shane Rachford and one step grandchild.

Patricia was a 1951 graduate of McDermott High School.  She was active in her church, the Pleasant Valley Community of Christ in Lucasville, where she served many years as a leader of a girls club, the Skylarks.  Patricia was also an avid gardener and lover of all things in nature and a member of the Woodman of the World

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway.  A private funeral will be held for the family with burial to follow in Scioto Burial Park.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in memory of Patricia be made to SOMC Hospice, 2201 25 ^th St, Portsmouth, Ohio 45662 or Pleasant Valley Community of Christ, In Care of Ruth Charles, 39 Meadow Lane, Lucasville, Ohio 45648.
