Penny Lynn Carver, 48 of Lucasville passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.  She was born on July 18, 1975 in Portsmouth to the late Charles Dee Puckett and Betty Jo Smith of Minford.  On June 23, 2001 she was united in marriage to Rick Carver who survives.  In addition to her husband and mother, Penny is also survived by her children; Kylee (Corey) Lepore of West Portsmouth, Mark Cox of West Portsmouth,  Shawn (Sierra) Puckett of Lucasville, Julie (Bobby) Vallandingham of South Webster and Ricky (Shena) Carver, Jr. of South Webster, grandchildren; Baylee, Cheyenne and Caydon, siblings; Kathy "Kitty" (ony) Crabtree of McDermott, Jerry Lee Puckett of West Portsmouth and Chelsey (Jon) Heinlen of Hazlehurst, Georgia, nieces & nephews; Tiffany (Michael) Chidsey of Portsmouth, Ryan Crabtree of McDermott, Tony (Kelly) Crabtree of McDermott, Ashley Puckett of West Portsmouth, Ayla Puckett of West Portsmouth and many other nieces and nephews; close friends who are like family, Angie (Donny) Galloway, Roxann (Ricky) Warren, Bri (Joe) Ayers, Alicia (Mike) Phipps and Nikki Tackett.  In addition to her father, Penny was preceded in death by her brothers Scotty Dean Puckett and Jeffrey Dee Puckett.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway.  The family respectfully requests donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
