Ralph E. Sowers, Jr., 72, of Waverly, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.  He was born on April 17, 1950 in Hamden, Ohio son of the late Ralph E. Sowers, Sr. and Edna Louise Eberts Sowers.  On November 20, 1983 Ralph was united in marriage to Patricia Wolfe Sowers who survives.  Also surviving are five sons, Ralph Sowers III, Kevin Michael Sowers, Harry Kenneth (Michele) Sowers, William Jason (Jen) Sowers and Gary Michael (Cathy) Dunn, Jr.; a daughter, Deborah (Kevin) Senkovic; nine grandchildren, Samantha, Shalyn, Kaitlyn, Jason, Dylan, Gracie, Hannah, Jessica Paige and Kayla; 3 great grandchildren and three sisters, Marjorie E. (Larry) Blaum, Katharine L. (Carl) Allen and Amber H. Hartshorn.  In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by a sister, Claudette S. Harrington and a nephew, Bobby Blaum.

Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly, with Pastor Jack Moore officiating.  Family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
