Ralph Leon Woods, 89, of Peebles, Ohio passed away Friday, May 10, 2024 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.  He was born July 22, 1934 in Peebles, Ohio to the late James Alfred and Mattie Belle Smith Woods.  On February 10, 1968 he was united in marriage to Sherry L. Woods who preceded him in death on August 22, 2017.  Surviving are his children, Keith Woods of Peebles and Karen (Kelle) DePew of Bainbridge; grandchildren, Hannah Daire DePew, Kaleb Joe DePew and Gable Graham Gidding DePew; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a brother, James Woods and sisters, Eleanor Beavers, Juanita Ward, Verlie Woods and Faye Thompson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Kelle DePew officiating.  Burial will follow in Woods Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
