Ramona Gay Stump, 75 of Hillsboro formerly of Sabina, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Highland District Hospital.  She was born on April 21, 1948 to the late George Funk and Dorothy Ruth Tucker Funk.  On February 14, 1966, she was united in marriage to Carey Leonard "Butch" Stump who preceded her in passing on June 9, 2004.  Surviving are her children; Tony (Jettie Duffield) Stump of Hillsboro and Walter Dean Stump of Washington Court House; grandchildren, Douglas Stump of Hillsboro, Dale Stump of Winchester and Carey Stump of Peebles; step-grandchildren, Patricia Pritchard of Hillsboro and Michael Duffield of Hillsboro; step-great-grandchildren, Matthew, Jettie and Evelyn and siblings; Elmer Funk of Blanchester and Pam (Bill) Earley of Leesburg.

In addition to her husband and her parents, Ramona was preceded in death by siblings; George Funk, Charles Funk, Wayne Funk, Mike Funk and Dorothy Lansing.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway, Ohio with Tommy Adams officiating.  Burial will follow in Moon Cemetery in Otway.  Family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
