Randy Joe Puckett, 60, of Rarden, Ohio passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at his home.  He was born November 2, 1960 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Donald Puckett and Shelby Tackett Puckett.  On July 5, 2005 he was united in marriage to Sheila Davis Puckett who survives.  Also surviving are his children, Melissa (Tim) Altman of McDermott, Shirley Puckett of McDermott, Brandy Flack Puckett of Portsmouth, Eric (Sara) Flack of Portsmouth, Katrina (Michael) Puckett Craft of McDermott, Dustin Puckett of McDermott, Shawn Puckett of McDermott, Austin Davis of Waverly, Weston Howard of Missouri, Dalton Puckett of Rarden, Randon Puckett of Rarden, and Joslyn Puckett of Rarden; a step-son, Warren Davis of Rarden, 15 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Sonny Puckett, Michael Puckett, Nick Puckett and Chris (Olivia Bishop) Puckett all of McDermott; sisters, Cindy Puckett of Portsmouth, Shirley (John Bond) Rigsby of Waverly, Amanda (Greg Conley) Puckett of Waverly and Carrie Puckett of Lucasville; and his mother-in-law, Joslyn Davis of Rarden.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Adam Puckett; a step-son, Payton Davis; brother, Jamie Lee Puckett; and sister, Peggy Craft.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2021 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway.  Burial will follow in Puckett Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
