Rebecca Louise Harris, 75, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024 at her home.  She was born October 19, 1948 in Hillsboro, Ohio to the late Lewis and Mary Leming Irvin.  She was united in marriage to Ellsworth Harris Sr. who preceded her in death in 2005.  Surviving are a daughter, Candida (John) Harris of Beaver, Ohio; a son, Ellsworth Harris Jr. of Waverly; grandchildren, John Harris Jr., Corey Harris and Ariel Harris; great-grandchildren, Aleeah Harris, April Harris and Brinley Harris; special nieces, Christy Tackett, Angie (John) Lowman, Debbie Tackett and Diana Jacobs; a step-grandson, Robert (Beth) Harris; and several other grandchildren, nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, Toby D. Tackett; and siblings, Arthur Irvin, Phyllis Tarter, John Irvin and William Irvin.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Brother Bob Westfall officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery on Denver Rd.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Monday.
