Reginald G. Owens, Jr., 67, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Friday, June 23, 2023 at his home.  He was born January 10, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Reginald Owens, Sr. and Flora Jean Feeser Owens. Surviving are his brothers, Thomas Owens of Kentucky and Daniel Owens of Piketon, Ohio; his sister, Patricia Montgomery; his dear friend, Debbra Hall; his family and friends at Frontier Community Services and the Pike County Board of DD.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Linda Downing and Betty Jo Reed; and his best friend, Roger Kemper.

Reggie loved the Ohio State Buckeyes, playing video games and listening to Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson. He dearly loved his Mt. Dew and snuff and would get mad when he ran out.  He also loved "firing" and "rehiring" people on a daily basis, and his fondest memories are of playing basketball with the Pike County Cougars.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2023 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Dave Burriss officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery on Denver Rd.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
