Rhonda Renee Pettit, 75 of Waverly, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at the Kobacker House in Columbus.  She was born on January 16, 1949 in Portsmouth to the late Ronald Pettit and Virginia Perkins Pettit.  Surviving are her children; Greg (Rebecca) Bickers of Millersport, Ron (Dawna) Bickers of Chillicothe and Lynna (Matt) Childers of Pleasantville; grandchildren, Heather Thacker, Anthony Bickers, Victoria Ruckman, Hannah Bickers, Jacob Bickers, Shannon Childers, Derris Childers and Ella Childers; great grandchildren, Hayven Taylor, Haylee Thacker, Rubyrae Thacker, Addy Childers and Kaylee Childers; siblings, Randy (Karen) Pettit of Springboro, Andy (Amy) Pettit of Waverly and Jenny Pettit of Jackson.  In addition to her parents, Rhonda was preceded in death by her sister Denise Pettit Ford.

Rhonda was a member of The Piketon Jasper Methodist Church.  She retired from AK Steel (Armco) where she worked for over 30 years.  She loved family get togethers and all of the laughs.  That's what they did they laughed.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Harley Roston officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
