Rick F Taylor, 71, of Waverly passed away on Thursday, March 12. 2026 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.  He was born on May 3, 1954 in Ross County to the late George Edgar Taylor and Joy Juanita Miller Taylor.  Surviving are his sister; Patricia (Leon) Bevins of Lucasville; niece, LeAnn (Darrel) Allmon; great nephew, Isaac Lee Allmon; cousin Duane Miller of Plain City and special friend; Mark Feilder.

Rick was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Waverly and a member of the Masonic Lodge.  He was an avid outdoorsman as he loved fishing and hunting.  He also loved his cat, Butter and his dog, Boo.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. May 3rd, 2026 at Mound Cemetery in Piketon.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.
