Sandra Joyce Carrier, 78, of Chillicothe, Ohio passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Adena Pike Medical Center in Waverly, Ohio.  She was born March 20, 1943 in Washington Court House, Ohio to the late Charles R. and Sara Jane Cole Cooper.  Surviving are her children, Scott Baer of Washington Court House, Beth Matthes of Waverly, Joy Carrier (Scott Ramey) of Piketon and Wendy Carrier of Waverly; grandchildren, Jeff Baer, Sierra Moore, Sam Carrier, Zoe Carrier, Cooper Carrier, Carter Carrier, Delilah Norvett and Tyler Matthes; a great-grandchild, Riley Baer; a sister, Sylvia Eckles and a brother, Doug Cooper.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Jordan Baer; a brother, Steve Cooper and the love of her life, David Johnson.

Sandra was a lifetime member of TNBC.  She loved helping kids in her career as a Youth Diversion Officer.  Sandra also loved gardening and spending time with her family.  She was loved by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Bud Brabson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
