Stephen Daniel "Dan" Davis, 78, of Lucasville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth.  He was born July 10, 1942 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late John Harold Davis and Edna Hall Davis.  On April 30, 1982 he was united in marriage to Gail Lacy Davis who survives. Also surviving are a son, Stephen Michael Davis of Orlando, Florida; a step-son, Christopher Pierce and wife Angie of Sidney, Ohio; a step-daughter, Nicole Mundhenk and William Goodson of McDermott, Ohio; five step-grandchildren, Hailey Pierce, Makayla Bissette, Maddison Campbell, Olivia Pierce and Lacy Mundhenk; one step-great grandchild, Eleisha Campbell; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, William Darrell Davis and a sister, Pat Sissel.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway with Pastor Bob Davis officiating.  Burial will follow in Garvin Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
