Stephen Wayne Slone, 77, of Chillicothe, Ohio passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio.  He was born on December 29, 1946 in Givens, Oho, son of the late Hasel and Goldie Murray Slone.  On August 17, 1969 he was united in marriage to Cecelia Sharp Slone who survives.  Also surviving is a son, Michael (Michele) Slone of Urbana; a grandson, George Slone; a brother, Harold (Rosie) Slone of California and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Stephen is preceded in death by a sister, Eula Hastings and five brothers, Carl, Marvin, Jim, Bob and Stanley Slone.

Stephen was a service advisor at Roush Honda in Westerville, a member of Omega Church and a member of Gideons International.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 25, 2024 with Pastor Keith Richardson officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Latham Cemetery in Waverly, Ohio.  Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
