Steven Dale Grooms, 46, of Piketon, Ohio passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023 at home.  He was born on April 29, 1976 in Chillicothe, Ohio son of the late Mack Elgin and Bertha Irene Mustard Grooms.  Surviving are four children, Taylor Grooms, Gunner Grooms, Jagger Grooms and Steven Dingess all of Piketon; a brother, Gregory (Christie) Grooms of Piketon; niece and nephews, Brittani Scharbrough, Colton Grooms and Reno Grooms all of Piketon and several great nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by a sister, Shiela Kitchen.

Steven was a former employee of the City of Waverly.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Life Change Church.  The family will receive friends from 2:00pm – 4:00pm.
