Retired registered nurse, Susan K Ramsey is leaving a legacy of animal advocacy with those who loved her. Susan passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, January 24 ^th ,2022 at the age of 70. Born on July 4 ^th , 1951, to the late Clarence A. Ramsey and Mavis (Holtzman) Ramsey, Susan and her childhood friend Pat Hill began rescuing animals in kindergarten. This led to a passion for all animals throughout her life including her beloved Afghan Hound Ruggles. A loving mother, Susan is survived by her daughter, Heather (Kruetzman) and her husband Michael Oliveri of Arkansas; Brothers Wayne Ramsey and his wife Teresa of Michigan, Craig Ramsey and his wife Terri of Florida; Sister Linda Ramsey of Ohio and many nieces and nephews. Susan was preceded in death by her brother Thomas Ramsey and her longtime partner John Holt.

On Sunday February 27 ^th , Susan's family will host a Celebration of Life at the Lake White Club in Waverly, Ohio from 12pm-4pm. In leu of flowers the family requests donations to SICSA in Susan's name. Arrangements have been entrusted to Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly,
