Tami Bayes Hunt of Portsmouth, OH (formerly of Waverly) passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at her home. Tami was born on March 25, 1961, in Ashland, KY, to the late Francis and Madge (Smith) Bayes. On February 14, 1994, she married Charles (Rick) Hunt who survives her. Other survivors include her three sons- Brenden Balestra of South Shore, KY, Michael V. Balestra, and Nathan Belastra both of Portsmouth. Tami is also survived by her three sisters- Ramona (Steve) Woods and Ruby (Les) Neufarth, both of Waverly,  and Robyn Bayes of Portsmouth. Other survivors include 3 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 3 nieces, and 3 nephews. Besides her parents, Tami was predeceased by her brother Mark Bayes, two nephews and one niece. Arrangements are under the care of Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly, OH.
