Terry Lee McCreary, 77, of Piketon, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025 at his home. He was born May 19, 1947 in Manchester, Ohio to the late George Neal and Dorothy Mae Everett McCreary.  On February 11, 1967 he was united in marriage to Linda Charlene McCreary who preceded him in death on August 16, 2014.  Surviving are his children, Jodi (Don) McCreary-Jenkins of Piketon and Todd D McCreary of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Mark Alexander (Jamie) Anglemyer of Waverly and Joshua Aaron (Christa) Anglemyer of Piketon, Todd David (Nicole Shepherd) McCreary Jr. of Waverly, Danielle Anna Jane McCreary of Waverly, Joseph McCreary of Chillicothe; great-grandchildren, Mason Anglemyer, Dane Anglemyer, Erin Anglemyer, Logan Anglemyer and Grayson McCreary; and a sister, Jane Johnson of Portsmouth.  In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Everett McCreary; a sister, Jean; and a brother, George Neal.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2025 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Dale Reed officiating.  Burial will follow in Stockdale Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at the funeral home and for one hour prior to the service on Friday.
