Travis Scott Gill, 43 of Jeffersonville passed away on Thursday, May 2. 2024 at 12:44 a.m. at his residence.  Travis had been ill for the past 2 years and under the care of Hospice of Ohio.  Travis was born on December 23, 1980 in London, Ohio to Susie (Cecil) Sizemore who survives and the late Richard E Gill.  Travis leaves behind 5 children; Brenden (Veronica) Goble, Desirae Adams, Trey Gill, Isaiah Gill and Christian Gill.  Travis had a beautiful granddaughter named Everleigh Gill, whom he truly enjoyed the few times he got to see her during his illness. Travis is also survived by his uncle Freddie; aunt and uncle, Kevin and Donna Mette; several cousins that he loved and several nieces and nephews and special friends from grade school that he grew up with; Chris Gilley, Pete Dennen and Critty Haithcock.  In addition to his father, Travis was preceded in death by his uncle John Gill; grandparents; Marion (Becky) Gill, Judy Knisley, Hayden Ferguson and Ronald Knisley

Travis loved his family and will be missed so much! Travis was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and also a New York Yankees fan.  He enjoyed sports very much.

The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Fairview Cemetery in Jeffersonville.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway.
