Troy Ray "Duck" Woods, 77, of Peebles, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at ProMedica of Hillsboro.  He was born on August 26, 1945 in Peebles to the late Golden Eugene Woods and Iona Florence (McRoberts) Woods.  On August 26, 1982 he was united in marriage to Judy Kay Silcott Perkins Woods who preceded him in death on June 21, 2004.  Surviving are his children, Ray Allen (Donna Jean) Woods of Peebles, Ronnie Lee (Missy) Woods of Waverly, Clyde Paul (Beth) Perkins of Waverly, Richard (Andria) Perkins of Waverly, Anthony (Paula) Perkins of Waverly and Matthew Perkins of Waverly; brothers, Terry Lynn Woods of Peebles and Ted Allan Woods of Warren; a sister, Norma Jean Zuver of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents and wife, Troy was preceded in death by a son, David Eugene Woods, a grandson, Christopher Woods and a brother, Jerry Lute.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Penn and Rev. Darby Beekman. Burial to follow in White Oak Cemetery, Beavers Ridge Road, Peebles.  Family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
