Vircie Jewel Kirk Carroll, 83, of Rarden, Ohio passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born on October 29, 1938 in Mt. Joy, Ohio, daughter of the late Isaac and Effie Swoger Kirk.  On November 2, 1955 she was united in marriage to Albert Eugene Carroll who preceded her in death.  Jewel is survived by daughters, Ponda Moore, Susie Carroll, Gina Blankenship, Debby (Rick) Clay and Kathy (Fred) Starcher; sons, Randy (Diann) Carroll and Tim "Buck" Carroll; grandchildren, Melinda, Sara, Chris, Brandy, Brittany, Rebecca, Alyssa, Amanda, Andrew, Jewel1, Frank and Nikki; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.  In addition to her husband, Jewel1 was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Euton, infant daughter, Robin, sisters, Hope Ward, Ethel McKinley, Viola Perry and Lilly Adams and brothers, Tom and Earl Kirk.

Jewel was a homemaker, a wonderful mom, grandmother and a good kind soul.

Graveside services will be 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Harman Cemetery.
