Virginia Kathryn Heavenridge, 90,of Waverly, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Traditions at Bristol Village in Waverly, Ohio.  She was born August 1, 1934 in Pike County, Ohio daughter of the late Herman and Isabelle Kamer Ward.  On January 10, 1959 she was united in marriage to Jack Lewllyln Heavenridge who preceded her in death on December 23, 2017.  Virginia is survived by two daughters, Ruth Aliceson Davis of Waverly, Ohio and Susan (Richard) Elaine Dague of Michigan; grandchildren, Brooke Aliceson Davis, Rebecca Leone Davis and Briana Paige Dague; great granddaughters, Morgan, Lyla, Addison and Everly who lovingly called her "Grandma Bingo"; brothers, Randy, Edward, John, Roger and Ralph Ward and sisters, Nancy Beekman and Auda Herman.  In addition to her parents and husband, Virginia was also preceded in death by brothers, Louis, Ronald, Dallas, Terrill and Lawrence Ward and sisters, Sue, Linda and Sarah Alice Ward.

Virginia was a school cook and worked for Schmitt's Dairy in Waverly.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.  Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery in Piketon.  Family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
