Virginia "Ginny" Anne Brown Koenig, 80, went to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on February 2, 2023 at her home in Otway. She is the daughter of the late Charles A. Brown and Opal May Brown Riessner. She was united in marriage to Martin Koenig who preceded her in death on August 8, 2012. Ginny is the devoted mother of three sons; Martin "Bo" (Teri) Koenig, Todd (Brenda) Koenig and Clay (Deve) Koenig; two daughters, Lisa (Mark) Stump and Traci (Matt) Powell; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and special friend she called her other daughter, Mary Mullett. In addition to her husband and parents, Ginny was preceded in death by one granddaughter; Carrie Anne Trent.

Ginny loved her family and church family. She was talented with writing Christian poetry and loved her granddogs, Annie and Teddy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway with her pastor Danny Powell officiating with burial following in Koenig Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
