William "Billy" Edward Tackett, 51, of Lucasville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at his residence with his sister Bonnie and big brother Crazy Dave by his side.  He was born on January 27, 1971 in Portsmouth to the late Billy Ray Tackett and Linda Hoffer Tackett of Lucasville.  In addition to his mother, Billy is survived by his baby Sweetie Pie, his son; Travis Tackett of Chillicothe; his siblings;  Crazy Dave Colley of Lucasville, Bonnie (Paul Yoder) Tackett of Portsmouth, Angie (Dustin) Williams of Blue Creek, Jimmy (Jeannie) Tackett of Lucasville, Brian (Kristie) Tackett of Minford,  Terry (Mary Holsinger) Tackett of McDermott, Joe (Tammy) Tackett of Chillicothe and Sandy (Dustin) Mayhew of McDermott.  In addition to his father Bill Tackett, Billy is also preceded in death by his sister; Brenda Tackett and his grandparents; Malcom (Bonita) Tackett and Ralph (Louella) Hoffer.

Graveside services will be at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Crabtree Cemetery in Lucasville.  Arrangements in the care of Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway.
