William Wray Grooms, 57, of Lucasville, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at his residence.  He was born on July 21, 1964 in Piketon to the late Paul Grooms and Velma May Mustard Grooms.  Surviving are his daughter; Kristie Grooms of Piketon; grandchildren, Christopher McDaniel, Brooklynn Puckett, Markayla Puckett and Kristian "Cole" Grooms; brothers, Joe Grooms, Jimmy Grooms; sisters, Karen Grooms, Judy Massie and Dorathy "Dottie" Lightle; nephew, Kerry Creech and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

William was a logger and an avid guitar player.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Botkin Hornback Funeral Home of Waverly.
