William Edgar Wills, 94 of Waverly Ohio, was reunited with his wife Ellen on his birthday, November 17, 2022.

He was born November 17, 1928 in Hinton, West Virginia to the late Theodore Roosevelt Wills and Estelle Wills. On August 12th, 1949 he was joined in marriage to Ellen (Keaton) Wills who recently passed in June of 2022. They have 3 children Tom (Brenda) Wills, of Louisville Kentucky, David Wills of Waverly, Tim (Lynn) Wills of Israel.

They have four grandchildren, Stephanie Robinette, Amy Wills, Melinda Craddock and Brian Wills. Two great grandchildren Nicholas Robinette and Elliott Craddock.

Edgar went to Concord College in Athens, West Virginia. He was an educator in a one room schoolhouse and taught all grades. In 1953 his family moved to Ohio, started working at the Atomic Plant and worked there until he retired in 1989.

Edgar's time was most spent in nature. He loved camping, hunting, fishing and bird watching. He was always tending to his garden and yard at home. Edgar was an avid reader. He had a small library full of books about American history, nature and religion. He wrote a book of his own about his family history. Edgar's hobbies and knowledge were often shared with his children and grandchildren. He was a storyteller and he was always sharing his memories with everyone.

Services will be at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home on Tuesday, November, 22nd. Calling hours are from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral service will follow immediately after at 11:00 AM and his burial service will be at the Evergreen Union Cemetery.
