Winston Edward Curtis, Sr, 80, of Piketon passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026 at his residence.  He was born on December 12, 1945 in West Union to the late Ezra Curtis and Maude Curtis.  Surviving are his children; Tara Curtis of Dayton and Winston Edward Curtis, Jr of Portsmouth; granddaughter, Leannah of Portsmouth and great granddaughter Ivy Lee Newman.  In addition to his parents, Winston was preceded in death by his sister Barbara Hughes.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.  The family respectfully asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
